Logic students working with the professionals at Dell
Over the course of four sessions with Dell, our students took part in various group exercises to build important work qualities. Our students were successful in building a brilliant race strategy with great team work and correct calculations in an exercise competing with other schools (and even building the tallest tower with a pack of cards!). Across other sessions, they worked in groups with students from other schools in activities of idea generation; applied skills to the wider world, and finally, created a product idea which benefits the community to pitch and present to their peers and a panel of judges. In fact, Logic student Leandro Rafael Zahid won the competition with his group presenting their product of a mental health advisor in the form of a robot! Our students had the opportunity to network with Dell professionals, learn about the world of work and develop excellent communication skills.
